Soothaga Chooranam is a combination of traditionally used herbs that are widely recommended in irregular menstrual cycle, white discharge, female reproductive problems and other gynaecological disorders. One of the prime ingredient Saraca asoka is rich in flavonoids, tannins and various constituents helps to relieve pain in dysmenorrhoea. It is higjly reputed for its action in regularising hormones and menstrual cycle. It is a uterine tonic. The other key ingredient Hybanthus enneaspermus helps to reduce excessive heat and white discharge. Trigonella foenum is added to the combination for its magical property in reducing pain and spasm during menstruation. Evolvulus alsinoides , Phyllanthus niruri and Glinus lotoides are added to the combination to control the growth of cysts and fibroids.
